Ok , I have a very crappy camera and the color is yellow and the barrel and trigger is yellow but
with the poor quality of the pic it makes it look gold and the yellow on the frame look very dull yellow but is shiny yellow

Forget the colors, does it come in metal? I'm sorry I just cannot get psyched over these Ions But I agree with the others, the colors are whacked.

The entire gun is metal excpet for the sleeve body. The grip frame is metal, the internal body that houses the internals is hard anodized aluminum, the reg is metal.

SP already make a Yellow body kit, granted its $40 so if you spent less than that including your time then bravo

Other wise you should have aimed for a color that's not offered.

He didnt paint the body. He painted the grip frame. The yellow is not a new color body anyway.

Yes, I have heard. I know for the gun does not have metal-to-metal contact everywhere. Some places it is metal to plastic. Sorry, not intending to start a flame or discuss merits of the Ion thread.
