AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
You want you barrel over the top before even your head or your hopper is. Does this concept not make sense to you?
With a Warp you can go over the top without needing to turn your gun to the side to prevent the loader from breaking the top of the bunker before your barrel.

i disagree with your first statement, and, dont think you need to turn your gun at all when comming over the top. Having your barrel out before your eyes is stupid, your either A- blind firing, or B-doing nothing. The way i see it, just having your hopper/marker, in front of your gun/face will have you bringing up everything at the same time and being able to fire well aimed shots quickly and effictivley. And if they do get shots at you, you will be able to pull everything back in before they get there anyway. The only way that your going to get shot out doing what im saying is if there is already paint on the way to where your comming out (which would put you getting shot no matter what you brought up first) or if your just not seeing or cant react to paint comming at you when your shooting.
The way you favor, you have your marker in a position where your not going to be able to shoot as effectively; your making yourself a larger target; and your not going to be able to get back in the bunker as quickly as you otherwise could since your marker is up higher.
I think at the rate a persons body emerges from a bunker, even if their hopper did come over teh top before their barrel, thats what, 6 in of movement? Even if you were say 5 feet away from someone that isnt going to matter, much less when your say 10 yards apart. The things your sacraficing (like actually being able to shoot someone) are not worth what you think your gainging (having your barrel out before your hopper).
My comment is, just watch some videos of the better teams out there and see how they come up over the top.
My comment is that i practice with team trauma on a weekly basis, and the russian legion was here 2 weeks ago, and i know how they come over the top. K, thanks, bye.

Yeh.. because semi-decent players don't know the lanes, have a good guess where to put the paint, and have hte ability to shoot before they see it
You aim in the first place? Most people shoot by feel considering the lack of sights on a marker.
How many times do you see people shoot someone they can't even see - sometimes it requires doing things different. The target size - you think he plans on staying up like that or getting a few balls off to try to put someone in so he can come out a side better?

Ok, common, you know what im talking about here, no, i dont friggin sight down the marker and shoot, i shoot by feel, but, the thing is, its kinda hard to shoot by feel if the gun is sideways above your head, go ahead try it.
also, shooting someone you cant see is completely different than shooting over the top of your bunker while your head is still behind it- your twisting words to your advantage and you know it. Yes, i said "good luck hitting someone when you cant see them" but, you and i both know that by the context, i meant with your face behind the bunker and the marker over it.
target size- i dont care if he is staying up there or not, if there is paint anywhere in the area, he now has at least a 3 times greater chance of being hit than if he had decent form and was compact.
Actually, I'd figured this photo Doc took a couple days prior to this Whiteboard was probably the inspiration, although I don't personally know for sure.

Sorry, but... Everything that this guy said is correct.

I know, I'm an elitist cockwad.
Elitist cockwad? please explain...
IMPO, there are better ways of getting your views out then the way some on here choose to do it.. No need to put others down or be nasty.. The one upping gets a bit outta hand... sigh...

Not much explaining to do. I'm a tourney baller, and will admit that I am an elitist cockwad, and make fun of those who shoot all goofy over the top, and use drops. It appears that you believe I was insulting someone... When in fact I was 'insulting' myself (assuming that's what you would call that.)

...wait, are you kidding? Just look at the pic. Due to his terrible form, his hopper, marker, head, and boday are all seperate targets, where as if he were to hold the thing properly, keeping the hopper and marker in line with his head and body, he would be a much smaller target. i also HIGHLY doubt that you can put off well aimed shots with your gun sideways a foot above youre head.
You are thick in the head if your trying to critique without knowing the field. The gun was high because the 50 laydown that was 10 feet infront of me was loaded, I could shoot right ontop of them. I got the 50 out, back got me, sure it was risky but it worked
