I wear my hair.

Nothing.. just my hair in a pony.... I rather like it that way... If i wore at hat or such my boy child wouldn't be able to tell where his mumma was on the field, or which person to hug comming outta the saftey zone....my hair is long/thick enough tht the balls don't hurt..If one does happen to break then it is a great excuse to take another shower...showers are good..

Just a quick question... how long are the special team head bands likw 2 feet or 2.5 feet?

My mask and an athletic headband to keep the sweat off my face. If its below 60* I will put on a beanie or just pull the hood of my sweatshirt up under my mask. That works really good.

I'd hate to resurrect an old thread, but I still haven't found anything yet. I see Dye has $15 headbands, but from the looks of it they don't offer any real protection. I noticed Countypaintball.com has some custom ones, but I don't really want camo and that's all they have in stock.

i wear a knitted beanie that my grama made, there is plenty of breathing thrue it, so it really isnt too hot, at least not for speedball. supeeeeeer good for protecting your dome, plus bounces.

i can ask her how much it would cost to make you one if you want.

Ditto on the ball cap. My favorite are the fitted ones. The adjustables don't absorb much sweat (I wear it backwards with my mask on). Also, it should preferably have an ASU Sun Devil on it!

I wear a Skullsock. Its a thin cotton beanie used by motorcycle riders. for being so thin, it deffinately wicks away the sweat, and give a lilttle more protection for the head. Plenty of welts still but no more cuts from thinck shelled paint.

Nice thing is it is thin enough that I can wear it under a hat, beanie, or bandana for extra dome protection.
