Just got it back from the paint shop and all ready for the Camp Blanding scenario.I just hope I don't drop it in the bushes.

That is a beautiful work of art. Have fun at Blanding, I have never been there yet but all my buddies tell me it is awesome. Maybe next year I will have caught up enough to go to one of their games. I will be at the end of year at Waynes though.

Is that powder coat or paint? I wish i could go to that senario. Is the scenario in camp blanding florida? My family lives in melrose which is just a a dive, snap, and a bunker away.

Actually it is Painted with Dura coat.I shipped it off to m1tactical.com
These guys do real firearms and after seeing thier website I had to get mine done.If it holds up as well as it looks,I will be real happy.I have two more tac ones waiting after the first of the year hopefully.I made the stock with the help of a friend that welds and an old worn out lathe.The barrel is a 16" stiffi and I have a 14" for the carbine look.The shroud is what happens when an air filter insert from an Echo backpack blower and a sprinkler head mate.The shroud only works if you have a barrel with the same thickness all the way down the barrel.It attaches to the battery field strip screw.I made one for a friends A-5 with a stiffi and it looks cool.I just have to find a way to attach it.Thanks for all the compliments.
