    Good Quality 9.6v

Hey all, I came across the pbgear.com battery and charger section in my search for a better 9.6v. The Kingman one is pretty crappy. Are any of these any good that you know of:

I was thinking about getting this when it comes back in stock:

i used the last one for my apache. Just make sure that you either know how to shave a bitof plastic of the casing of the batteries or bring your marker/hopper/whatever the hell you putting them in to see if they fit. They are slightly larger than the average battery.

I'm partial to Tysonic and PowerEx batteries using the PowerEx 9v charger. Expensive, but they charge fast and work great

                    over 10V? Wow.

I've used Tysonic for awhile, they're pretty good. Maha is also recognized as being excellent.

if you are looking for any thing performance wise, other than the ability to recharge, do not use a rechargeable. their mah ratings are too low to really power much in this sport. especialy if you are planning on using one of these in your marker.

Well, I'm not wasting money on regular 9v's. The high dwell required on my arachnamag conversion really sucks battery life. So I'm definitely going rechargeable. I'll probably do the powerex or the dueydog.

That's generally not a good thing, but that could also be due to a crappy charger that continues to charge the battery beyond what it was designed for.

Actually, that's not entirely true. I've used (and have been using) rechargables in several guns with absolutely zero problem. This includes several Matrices, a Predator Angel, Freestyle and Cyborg; all with zero problems. I've also used rechargables in my Reloader B and Halo, again, never had a problem. Would I leave the battery in the gun / hopper for weeks or months at a time without charging? Of course not. When not being charged, NiMH batteries lose a few percent of their life per day, Alkalines lose a few percent per year. Make sure the batteries are charged with a good charger before you use them and you shouldn't have a problem.

go ask tadao what the deal on rechargeables are, their mah rating is too low to work consistently and on par with any other regular 9v.

Why do I have to go ask Will what he thinks when I can speak from my own experience? You *do* know that the mah rating is a reference to the storage capacity of the battery right? Even then, having a high mAh rating does *NOT* mean that the battery will power the appliance longer or better than a battery with a lower mAh rating.
