    stupid is, as stupid does

Does anyone live near Yakima, WA

Maybe some one could go by this store and ask to why they market 3/8 STEEL BALL BEARINGS and paintball in the same ebay auction.
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll..._BIN_Stores_IT

From what i can tell they are listed as gernade filler or something..i dont know

If I'm not mistaken there is a ball bearing jammed in the end of most paint grenades, to keep the paint in side the rubber sock.

When the grenade hits the ball bearing is spit out followed by the paint.

Perhaps these are for people who fill their own grenades.

3/8" is .375 cal, a little more then half the size of the .68 cal which is our paintball size, therefore you'd have a real hard time getting this ball bearing to fire out of a paintball marker much less stay in the barrel.

PF is correct, several paint grenade manufacturers that use surgical tubing use ball bearings that have a litte friction fit in the end and pop out when the grenade strikes a hard surface or is squeezed.

not much of a description to go off of and to be honest the only thing that caught my eye was that it said steel ball bearing.
