Lets assume me and rudz have nothing downloaded, (mirc or whatever you need) and are completely retarted, because I type in /server zirc.irc.net and it gives me an invalid message, and then I go to chat faqs, and it just well, didn't say much....
Step by Step to much to ask?

go to mirc.com and download it.I knew not what I did but am now edumacatedComment

Go here. Pick any one of the links to download from. Open and install the .exe file.
When you run the program, click "Continue" in the first window that pops up, then "OK" in the next window. In the bottom line of the program, where you can type, enter:
/server irc.zirc.org
then hit enter. Then once a bunch of stuff scrolls through real fast, and you're connected to the server, type:
/join #automags
and you should be in. To change your name, type:
/nick WhateverTheHellYouWantRightHere
Once you're in, tell TP or tsc that quik sent you. You'll get special treatment.
