Cheap Paint

My wife calls me from Wally World (Wal-Mart) on Saturday and says that they've got BE paint on clearance: 1,000 rounds for $11.00. So I told her to buy some for me.

That's a helluva price for paint. Of course, I won't be using at the field during games, but for general goofing off in the yard or for chronoing--it's perfect!

Just thought I'd share.

mmm, not perfect for chronoing, you should use the same paint your going to play with to chrono, as different types of paint are different bores and will effect velocity.

ive stayed away from brass eagle paint myself, but ive seen a lot of horrible BE paint. i hope you have better luck.

meh it used to be like 9 dollars for 200 balls a few years ago.. i guess having a monopoly allows them to cut prices

My Wal-Mart has bigball for $25 a case. Course you have to pull 2 cases cut them open and take the top 2 bags from both. They don't argue with you about it as long as you act like you know what you are doing.

I actually havn't had that bad of experiences with BE. Bluestreak(1000 rounds) worked fine in my largebore barrel but wild streak(1000 rounds) sucked. It's just so, so, so greasy.

yeah, ive had mixed experiences with BE, some stuff has been fine, others, could barely get out of the marker. Whatever, im sticking with my $28 a case X ball gold either way

There was a storm at the field i play at, and the guy who ships the paint to the field couldnt get though. Well me and my friends were planning on buying paint at the field, and no paint. So down to walmart we go. Bought some big ball, and it was horrible. I got a half case and it shot ok, but the paint from the full cases couldnt even get though my freestyle. Had to bust out the mag

me and my brother each bought a case of monster ball for 22 bucks and it shoots good. not the best paint but it's really good for practice. it shoots straight and it broke on alomost all the ppl who i shot. the only bad thing is the fill is very thin, but other then that its great for practice of just messing around. not one barrel break or broke balls in the bags
