Like I said in the PM, You were quiet for a week or so--I had thought the frame had showed up after all.

FYI ...
Our experience over the last 12 months with padded envelopes or boxes going through the mail has been less than the best. Don't know why, but every now and then one of them takes a looong time, even by priority mail.
If anything is wrong with the address, it can take 2-3 weeks (or even more) to get back to us, too. This is why I always try to warn customers that there is no guarantee on when or if packages sent by mail will arrive, and if they don't get there, we cannot cover the loss unless we made a mistake in addressing the package.
Allow at least 3 weeks from the date of mailing before you decide a package has been lost in the mail. If you want to be sure you get it or that it is insured against non-delivery, pay the extra for UPS (or for Canada, pay for Global Express Mail).
By the way, our experience with FedEx has been abysmal, while UPS has been superb.
Hope this information is useful for those of you who are involved with buying and selling here.

It really doesn't matter what hapened, whether it was taken, lost, or late, the responsibility is always going to be on the seller/sender.

Yes indeedy. That is why, even though people continually gripe about spending $10 to ship a frame, I haven't went to the USPS.Originally posted by AGD-OfficeGalFYI ...

UPS gets it there, the USPS might get it there, FedEx will more than likely screw you.
Marcia - Keep a close eye on the charges that FedEx sends up on your account. I shipped with them for nearly a year, and they charged me over $1700 for pickups that never happened. But because they weren't labeled as a pickup charge I didn't catch the problem for eight months. When I confronted them, they told me to piss off, that I had 15 days to say something or I was SOL. My damned statements didn't come in less than 30 days.
So, long story short, I told the guy where to go, they made off with my $1700, and I opened a UPS account. I have had zero problems since. I say screw FedEx, their service sucked anyway.

I have shipped hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of computer and network gear via FedEx for over 3 years and never once had a problem with them. Now that being said, I never got the bills, those went to accounting. So in my book, FedEx is ok.
Also, Never had a problem with DHL, but had nothing but problems with UPS

FedEx express is great, the stuff gets there fast, and in once piece, they're just thieves.
FedEx home delivery sucks hard. They once hid a customer's package in their neighbor's garage because they weren't home to sign for it. I've had packages lost, stolen, misdelivered, buried in snow banks (that happened half a dozen times
), they just sucked.
UPS has not lost or misdelivered a single package of mine. They did leave an entire container of my packages sit at the terminal for three days, but that's the worst problem so far. Going on two years with them now, and not a billing error in sight.Ryan Shanks
