Booster to 4,500 psi?

If there a portable booster to get a 3,000 psi scuba tank up to 4,500 psi? If so who makes it and how much is it???

Several companies make them, I know Nitroduck does. The only problem with them is that they use mechanical advantage, so that it takes a large volume of air to fill a 4500 tank. I'm not sure of the specifics, but i doubt that you could get more then 2 4500 fills off a scuba tank.

Plus the boosters are about 400-500 bucks, for that price you'd be better off looking for a fibre 4500 scuba tank, they do exist, but their fairly rare.

They make steel scuba tanks that are 5000. They are expensive also. I inquired at my local dive shop and I think they quoted me something like $450. I decided my 3000k scuba would be ok. I can shoot one hopper and 4 140 round tubes on a 3k fill. That works for me.

How many fills from a scuba tank?

How many times can you fill a 68/3000 from a 3000 scuba tank?

I guess this is sorta a trick question. As I understand it, you start with a scuba tank filled to 3000. Then you fill the empty 68/3000 tank, and the scuba tank's pressure drops some, and it continues to drop each time.

I guess a better question is how many times can you fill your 68/3000 tank and it get more than 2000 psi ????

I get about 10 fills total on my scuba station ,10th fill is about 1.7kpsi

If you want to do 4500 fills here's what you gotta do....

Go to a bulk air supplier ( welders supply ) get a 6000psi 440cuft bulk station

You'll get about 50 68ci/3k fills on it....
