      Things to look for.

      1) Hammer Lug Timing Hole - This will be a small hole in the top of the body between the feed neck and the rear of the body between the grooves sof the site rail - If it doesn't have this your Cocker is pre 96 or 97

      2) Square Sight Rail Ends - The sight rail that's milled into your body will either have a square end right over the barrel or it will be milled down at a shallow angle, the rear will also either be sqare or be radiused, if your sight rail has the angle and radius, it's a 99, if it doesn't, it's a 98.

      3) Back Block - 2000 Back Blocks are around 3/4" thick while 99 blocks are closer to 1.25" thick

      4) Banjo Bolt - The Front block will be held on by a Banjo Bolt whick is around 3/8" in a 99, the 2K+ bolt will be larger (on the order of 1/2"+)
