As for owners/see'ers, how many Ions do break out of the box anyway?

My friend bought one. Worked pretty well for a month, then he did the maintenence exactly how it was described in the manual, and it stopped working. Everything was put together correctly and he followed the instructions to the T. -
my friend bought one. it wouldn't turn on right out of the box. he took it to the guy at the proshop and he nudged the board upward or something. i guess the button wasn't contacting the right part of the board or something.upgrade fund: $145

most are easy fixes, but i would say 25% go down within 2-3 months, let alone dont work out of the box
i ref at a field and this is what i see, and i doubt my field has some sort of magic sp gun blockign that allows these guns to not work out of the box.
the problem is they build them, assemble them, and ship
theyr is no testing, or product control WHAT SO EVER, and it shows.
however sp DOES fix them fast and usualy free so...i guess its all good...assuming you dont mind not playing for the rest of the say or borrowing a rental.
