I even asked Chelsea.

SPECK
Copper, in a sense, does rust. But it isn't the same as other things rusting. It turns green and is really a whole different process.Comment

rusting is referring to oxidization or corrosion for you term geeks, not FeO, FYI. So before you go and try to act all smart, rust isn't chemically defined here, or anywhere for that matter. Don't mess with me, I just finished a course on chemistry not too long ago.
don't believe me tho. Dictionary.com's definition here
note the fact that theres more than one definition on itRAWR

never said i was an expert, but if you were in that class, the whole thing was labs, and chemical equations and him beating us over the head about how rust is not just on iron. So how about you pull your pants back up now, cuz you just got raped via AORAWR

every teacher is anal about something. but no one ever refers to the oxidation of other pure metals/transition metals as "rust", they just refer to it as oxidation. in the link you sent me, the first definition was "ferric oxides". on half the dictionaries you will check, rust will only be defined as ferric oxides or mention iron/steel.Originally posted by mobsterboy///i totally went there with your mom and she liked it
