    hyperframe board question

I have a Hyperframe 20bps board that seems to be either locked on semi only or is manufactured only with a semi auto setting b/c I cannot change the firing modes. I'm almost positive it's a tourney locked board (semi only), but there's a tourney lock switch on the inside of the board when the driver side grip panel is removed. This doesn't make much sense b/c why would the manufacturor put an internal tourney lock switch on a board that's already semi-only. I've tried pressing the internal switch to try and turn off the tourney mode w/ no luck. I need to have the ramping (Hyper mode) option when I play advanced play at my field b/c everyone else is shooting Matrices and other electros (w/ ramp boards) and semi just leaves me really outgunned. I'm just a little confused by this, any help would greatly appreciated. And if I do in fact have the tourney locked board I would be willing to buy a 3-mode 20bps Hyper board if anyone has one for sale. Thanks guys,

The semi board and the board with different firing modes both look the same. They just have different programing. You can buy a new board from Centerflag but it does not have the Hyper mode. It has burst, semi and full auto. I think you would be wasting your money though. Get with luke and buy the 80 gram switch and blade trigger. You wont have any problem keeping up with the matrixes then. I put them on my Hyperframe and it really rips.
    Its the best upgrade.

To change modes.. i hold mode set for like 5 seconds, until "semi" blinks. Than i hit change modes again to move to burst and hyper mode. I have a 13bps board though.

BTW... i just saw this and i figured i would post it up.

Cool man, yeah I have been debating on whether or not to get a new board from CF, but since they no longer have the Hyper mode then I definately wont be picking one up. I've emailed Luke about getting the blade trigger and lighter switch from him and that does seem like the best rought to take. Is the trigger walkable w/ the lighter switch? Also if anyone has one of the older 20bps boards w/ Hyper I would still be interested in buying one. Thanks for the help, yea i have a 13bps 3mode board also, but I believe mine is locked on semi only.

Oh yeh its very easy to walk it with lukes blade trigger and switch. It takes no effort at all.
You will like it. I had to do a little sanding on the trigger where it fits up inside the frame to loosen the travel up, but after that it walks right up there with most any marker.
Oh and the trigger looks better in person than it does in the pic. I didnt really like the pics that I saw of the trigger in the frame, but once I put it in my frame I think it looks great.

Sweet, Yeah my Hyperframe is so hard to walk now. I can't wait to put a blade in it. Did you sand on the sides at the top? I'm not to crazy about the pics either (I'm a much bigger fan of the Intelliframe blade triggers) but if it works well then that's all that matters. Thanks for the help.

Yeh I had to take some of the powder coating off where it was rubbing my frame. Maybe it wont rub your frame. I would put it in first and see. If you do it just be careful and dont sand too low where it can be seen from outside the frame.
Again it looks alot better in real life. Dont go by the pictures. You will be very happy with it.
Make sure you buy the 80 gram switch also. Then you can mow muppets.
