If the lowers are off of the gun and the rail is still attached he can push down on the part of the sear that would push the on/off. Then pull the trigger, it should fire and push up against the pressure that he is applying. If the rail is not attached he can raise the sear a little and when the trigger is pulled it should pull against his pressure again.

But if its just been siiting forever the battery probably is dead.

Probably so. But the battery could be so low that it doesnt have the power to activate the sear and all it has the juice for is to light up the screen. Even if it doesnt work the parts arent too expensive to replace. Except for the board.

I dont know anything about 1.37 but 3.2 will indicate if the battery is low. He could use a voltage meter and see how much juice the battery has.

I thought the lowers wouldn't work unless at least the rail was on. The whole grounding thing. I wish I'd seen this last night so I could check.

No it will work without the rail. Trust me ive done it. You just gently lift up on the sear and pull the trigger.

The board is grounded to the trigger frame, not the rail.

My3.2 board never tells me when batts are low, sounds like that could be the problem, BUT, thats teh same thing that happened to me before my other 3.2 board fried. Read the screen pulled thr trigger turned off, soon the led just messed up and the board was toast.

Let me confuse this. My board never let me know when the battery was low either, until I fried the board and now it tells me the battery is low. That makes me think that it does have the capability.

Maybe someone should call AGD and find out.

The best way to tell if the battery has enough juice is to use the 9v tongue trick. *

                    * Don't actually do this if you want to use your tongue for anything ever again, like tasting food. It was a joke.
