Will hurricane Wilma affect World Cup

I listen to the news this morning and there postponing a lot of football games and moving some up as far up as central Florida - the question is, will World Cup and the promoters take into consideration the hurricane?

    good question.

I think the paintballers can take a direct hit from a category 5 hurricane and still play. You just have to adjust your aiming, like shoot in the opposite direction

Im glad to see theyre concerned about tents. I guess they figure its easier to stake players down with the elastic loops on the bottom of some pants

For the article on WARPIG I went over their plans with Rosie this morning for setup once the rough weather is passed, and what they'll have to do schedule shift wise to handle it. It sounds to me like it's not going to be a problem - if anything games will start a bit late, but they'll be able to make up the time either with the extra fields, or with night play, and they already have the additional lighting lined up for the night play.

Last year, Kissimmee had its share of hurricane action, and pretty much that means all the weak stuff, got blown away, what's left is what was repaired or strong enough to start with. The Wide World of Sports complex made it through fine last year.
