AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Does anyone know where i can get a Morlock DIY kit? Coolhand said he was out, and so is TAG. Do they still make them? I want to put one in my hyperframe, but no one has them.
Yep, that's the place. This is where Tag got their board from and then flashed the predator program on it. The straight Mini-Morlock does not have the Predator ramping modes or first shot drop off dwell compensation, but it has everything else you might need. One note, the manual offered for download at the Kennisaw Mountain Markers site has not been updated to the newer Mini-Morlock. The wiring is exactly the same but the register programming has changed a bit. I'd recommend emailing Curt at [email protected] for details on availability, register programming, and current price.
www.exarin.com is the company I believe that makes most of tags boards for them. They do sell thier own products, the Morlock is one of them and I believe still available.
However, it DOES NOT have the TAG Predator code on it. Those would be the Predator Morlocks, which are no longer in production. (PRedator 2's are also similar to the Pred-Morlocks, only with different wiring harness)
Word on the grapevive is that TAG has a new DIY kit in the works. As with the Emag boards, who the hell knows when we will see them.
If you can physically fit one into your hyperframe, you could use the Predator NME board. They will work with just about anything, and TAG has been substituting them for the Predator Morlocks for a short time.
Keep your eye on the tag forums for more info. TAG Forums
