I was at my local field (Ruckus Paintball in NJ) this weekend... the *expletive* bastards that make up "Team Ruckus" were throwing broken paintballs at other players in the staging areas. A few parents of younger players mentioned they wouldn't bring their kids there anymore. ..which is just a shame because Chris and the guys that work there are simply amazing people.

Not only did this make Ruckus look bad, but the team members doing it looked like they were 14 years old. This just adds to many of the labels and generalizations involving those "damn kids" that play paintball. I'm aware of the questionable attitudes of any sponsored or professional team, but wouldn't you think by even just wearing the name of a sponsor or field that you're obligated to give them a positive image?

There is no way tourney players did that. You mean there are some that do nto overshoot, cheat, wipe, scream, moan and groan?!!
Seems you have a good crowd like I have around my area. Get well soon, and stop playing and get some rest.

Yeah, i would say that in general the tournament crowd here is a nice group of people. Last CFOA i played, everyone on both teams always wished each other good luck before the games, and i saw something that was quite amazing. Ya know when a team is getting hyped up for a game they may do a chant in front of the deadbox or whatever, well, what i saw was 2 teams (about to play one another) meet in the middle of the field and both do a chant type thing together. I personally know one of the teams, and know that they did NOT closley know the other team. Was just a cool thing i thought. Also heard a lot of "good shot baller"'s from people who had just been shot out (i made shure to complement my opponents whenever applicable). Just a fun day for everyone and a good time.
