just wondering, Im about to purchase an inline maxflo reg and put it on my existing bottle. It is the newstyle max flo reg and was wondering how do you tell if it is a high pressure or low pressure reg? thanks

the gauge reads to 1200psi but the regulator is used and Iam not sure if the springs were changed. Can these springs even be changed on these systems? I know on the old ones they were.

If it is low pressure, it will have a nickeled brass pop-off valve sticking out the bottom near the adjuster cap.
If there is no pop-off, then it's most likely an HP output reg.
You cannot just change the springs, the HP and LP regs use a different size reg piston IIRC, which means they use a different reg housing.

I don't think the new style Max Flows are available "Shocker Style" anymore with the larger piston and blow off valve. Both the Shocker and the Nerve come with inline Max Flow regs stock to compensate for this.
Almost positive the new style is just High and "Mid" pressure, and the only difference is changing the spring, just like the old style High pressure Max Flow.Mike Smith
