Can you put a ULE trigger kit on a Zgrip?

I was just thinking, and browsing ebay , when a thought came to me. Can you you put that cool ULE trigger kit on a Zgrip? I'm just imaging the sheer volume of paint I could put on the target . . . .

The ULT influences the valve, and is a drop in for the valve. As long as you have the proper valve to accept it (all X-valves, some RT valves) then what frame you have does not matter.

Some RT valves (with double o-rings on the bottom I beleive) will work. Others have successfully modified classic valves to work but there are drop off issues above about 13BPS.

Major issues are the enhanced ability to shortstoke due to the ULT being designed for the higher pressures going through a RT valves on/off. If you get a full stroke there is no drop off at 13bps, my classic with ULT is handling 16bps with a ramping chip. Also you don't mod the classsic valve, you mod the ULT.

            So, to do this effectively, I'd have to replace my classic valve with a X-valve? Hmmm . . . so that would be about $550 for a valve, Zgrip, and ULE trigger kit . . . . hmmm . . . . if I were a rich man . . .

Is a Z-Grip really worth $300? I mean, you can get an Ion for that price!! Then again, I'll probably be able to use the Z-Grip for another 10 years, like my classic mag, where the Ion, no one knows...

Anyone remember what they ran when they were in production?

I don't see anyone paying 300 for one. I believe they were around 150 new, I paid 175 for mine off of ebay (shipping included). What makes the Z grip valuable is that they're rare.

Yeah, but $300 rare? Add $150 and you can get an entirely new RT-Pro.

Maybe in 5 years they might be worth $300.
