    Mags need a regulator?

    I was wondering if a mag needed a regulator. I have a LVL 10 Bolt, X-Valve, ULT trigger and I'm currently running a 45/4500.

They do not, a tank outputing around 800 psi is optimal, on a RT the more PSI you put into the harder the trigger pushes back on your finger after you shoot.

The valve in an automag is a regulator in its self. So the amount of pressure you put into it does not matter as long as you dont go crazy and go over 3000 psi, but not many people are crazy enough to put 3000 psi into it either.

No you can run your cord from your adapter to your bolt. But you can use a regulator if you want. But it will need to connect with your Bolt anyway

what skoad and arston said. On a mag you do not need any regulators at all. Unless you've got CoolHands pneumag frame, but thats a different story. But for 99.9% of the mags out there, you do not need another regulator.

And it could introduce recharge issues. So NOT adding a regulator (unless you use CO2) is preferable.

Appreciate it guys. This is the first mag I've owned in over 5 years so I'm still learning about all the new stuff.
