    Xmag or "specialty mag"

So I can't decide what to do. I finally have money to buy some nice gear. However, I can't decide between an Xmag and a crazy idea I got.

The Xmag would be like the others. Awesomeness

My current mag is a classic valve, powerfeed hopper left, with an intelliframe. Nothing special. However, I would convert it to the specialty mag

    The Specialty Mag

    Xvalve
    Z-grip with ULE trigger
    ULE body
    60
The one, the only (ok, not really the only) X-MAG!!!!

Be different. Be daring. Make the ULE Z-grip mag!!!

wow, almost as hard of a deciscion i had.

    you forgot an option, combo...

you get an xmag. yay for you. now ger a z grip mag, p/f if your tight on money, and switch out the valves. or you could just go the way of a cheap x valve.

but i would definatley get both, if of course, i had the cash. and also remember, rarer items keep their value, so you can always sell it again if you dont like it...

Big differenece in guns!? It seems you want a discussion starter instead of a gun you can use. What are you using it for, rec-wood-tourney, is it a backup, a fun gun (not needed)?

Can an Xmag run on a plain classic valve? Or would I have to buy another?

Its not a tourney gun. Neither is. I guess its recreational. I'm thinking that if I had a friend, we could switch off. That and a Z-grip is always a conversation starter

The more I think about it, the more I want to do both. I just have to be patient about the Zgrip mag. Can't get it all at once. Eventually someone will sell a Zgrip. And I'll be waiting . . . . *insert bad guy laugh*

No, you'd need an RT based valve. Ie: Emag, X-valve, RT Pro, RTX, Xmag, Tunamax, Micro RT, or Micro Emag. You can get lvl 10 Emag valves for like $150 used. But, if you bought an xmag you'd already have an x-valve or xmag valve. So, you'd only need to buy a body, rail, and the zframe.

But I already have the body and rail, I think. I'd yank out my classic valve and put in an xvalve. Then put on a zgrip. Right? Thats how its done, right?

Could I put the Emag valve in and Xmag and then swap my Xmag's valve with my my classic valve?

Slateman, I may have something that interests you. Not really an Xmag, in my mind it is..but, its not a Z gripped ULE either. May be out of your price range, then again maybe not. It's a gun Tuna built for me a while back, actually its a Tequilla fade Tunamax. PM me if your interested.
