Hey I'm thinking about getting picking up a used Q-Loader system...anyways I heard that there is a new design of the pods and I was wondering what kind of difference it makes between the new version and the older, and if there is a way to tell the difference between the two.

The new pods have a simpler, and easier to work with spring assembly. Less parts = more reliability and easier to maintain. The old pods aren't that bad though. After using them on two diferent nights, I was totally confident and comfortable with them.

i have some, they are atually on ebay right now.
but yes you do need good detents. the old ones have always worked fine for me and i think i have some of the new ones... they dont function that much different."Ah yes, I have one of the 32*rebels that I always take to big scenario games. It keeps the truck from rolling if I have to park on a hill." - automikey

Not true. Depending on how many prewinds you give the qpods, it will feed at different speeds. About 15-16 prewinds is equal to around 30-35bps. I keep mine at around 12-13 prewinds, around 15-20bps.Originally posted by bentothejam1nI've heard that it always wants to feed 31bps so you need good detents
