    who make what paint?

    This is something I've wanted to know recently.
    Who makes all the different types of paintballs?
    I've gotten the impression that RPS make most everything
    out there. Maybe I'm wrong. It's my understanding that
    there are basically two (big)companies that manufacture
    gel caps for medicines and RPS is one of them. The other escapes me. Has anyone ever put together a list of who
    makes what? Or am I totally wrong?

      well pmi makes rps
      also diablo makes their own paint, which is rather good

              I think it's the other way around.
              RPS makes PMI.
              Look on the bottom of a Tylenol gel-cap bottle (I think it's Tylenol)
              RPS is huge.
              Again I might be wrong.

                  actaully smart parts has dropped pmi and is now going with diablo

                  -i dunno if this has been released as of yet, but it will be soon

                  diablo will make all new "smart paint"

                      than- that could be, i am not for sure, but i believe that pmi does make rps, since on all boxes of rps it says somewhere pmi, like i said i could be wrong, but i do not believe so

                          Pursuit Marketing Inc. PMI. They dont manufacture the balls, they sell/market them.

                          kick'n also makes their own paint.

                                  which leads me to my next question...

                                  Are we being taken by all these varieties paint?
                                  When there are only 4 to 6 actual manufacturers.
                                  RPS
                                  ZAP
                                  Nelson
                                  Warner-Lambert? (the other medicine manufacturer? maybe?)
                                  others?

                                  I suggest there is no difference between 32 degrees and Big ball. Other than color. I also suggest there are others that are just packaging deferences. And we may pay more for no reason.

                                  I don't know how complete this list is. But it make you wonder, is there really any difference. Also, if these guys are using the same manufacturing processes. What's the difference from ball to ball?
