Flatline Reg -- Break in period?

Just bought one and I'm told by many that it needs a break in period before it gets to its well known consistancy. Is this true, if so how long (I guess in shots) will it take? If there is a break in period, can I speed things up by keeping it pressurized for a period of time and fire off a couple bursts now and then to get the spring settled?

    Any information is appreciated,

    HLD...

Break-in period is over-exaggerated. About all there is to "break-in" is the casting marks on the o-ring need to wear down a bit for the piston to operate a bit more smoothly and the piston pin and reg. seat need to work into each other to develop a bit more consistent sealing surface.

Overall, don't worry about it. Just run it.
