Brightening the lettering on an X-valve

    Hey guys,

I thought I saw this somewhere on here before and did a search with no luck. But my question is how do you brighten the faded lazer engraving on an X-valve. If I remember right you put whiteout or chalk or something on it. Someone has to know this, I don't want to just start putting stuff on my valve so any help will really be appreciated.

        Toothpaste.
        Yes, it works.
        Not too much though.
You can also use it to polish the internals of most blowbacks if you're without anything better.

Does a white crayon really work? And what kind of toothpaste. And how do either of these hold up?

            Thanks for the help guys.

zackzel: I had ADD and put whiteout on my valve today. Seems to have done the trick quite well!! Just made sure you wipe the excess whiteout and your good as new

Awsome man, I'll pick up a bottle tonight, did you let it dry before you whiped the excess away?

Try the whiteout pens... that might work better than the bottles/brushes

Yeah... they're great for marking stuff off in writing. I marked off my phantom's dot site l/r adjustments... and my Apex barrel's top/left/right settings off with it. Helps a lot.

I wiped the excess off before it dried. It only takes a couple seconds before it starts to dry. Just use your fingernail and a tissue to scrape off any left over whiteout
