Probably no differently from any other hollow tube.

it would be kinda cool to have a foam barrel.

BOA (Barrels of America) snakebite...I remember people used to think they were really good barrels. I think most were made of nickel plated brass, which accounts for the weight. I know a guy that had one, it was a nice barrel.

They had a beautiful finish on the inside. Probably the nicest barrel I have ever used in terms of quality and finish.

That's a great price for all of that.

I used to have a BOA on an old cocker of mine and it was one of the smoothest barrels I've had (it was an all brass BOA). But like the other guy said, it shoots no differently than a good paint to hollow tube match :P.

I've got the same barrel on my Mag right now. As stated above, its nickle plated brass, and has sort of a rubbery painted coating on it. Mine's a .689, and I think its been a fairly long time since they were last made.
                        Usually around. Usually silent.

My favorite barrel that I've used. Beatiful finish, heavy enough to use as a beating stick, and is obscure enough that people have no idea what it is...

If you could polish and cocker thread a wood pipe, it would work just as well as any other barrel.

Yes, plenty of hype about barrels. I only buy barrels for their price and "wicked lookedness". Any of mine are just as accurate as any of yours.
