I only use SS as well. Just have always had bad luck with macro (whenever I go paintballing with macro it ends up bursting on me)

Although it will cost you because of the distance involved take a look at this thread about fittings and hose. I use this system rather than macroline due to me liking the use of my eyes. Read the entire thread with the specs, you might get a little worried when you realise the actual ratings of what you are currently using...this includes SS as well.

As far as heat shrink tubing, you can get a variety box of 3M FP-301. I use it at work and because it's 3M, it's quality. You won't be disappointed."Otaeri wa doko desu ka?"
