AGD closing their doors?

The owner of a field I play at told me that AGD has been bought out by National Paintball Supply and is closing its doors effective Jan. 1.

Is this true? Has anybody heard anything and I'm totally out of the loop??

Been hearing that one in one form or another for 10 years. National ...IF they were to some how buy AGD they wouldnt close it down. What did the shop owner try & sell you instead of a mag???

I heard this from a field owner, who is close friends with a National Supplier from New York, I was telling him how I was gonna build a mag & and he said something like "well you'd better hurry 'cause national bought AGD out and their closing effective january 1" He wasn't trying to sell me anything. Anyway, can anyone confirm it?

I sort of knew they were on their way out, but I had no idea it would be so soon!!!

yeah get solid confermation from a higher up. every time I go into my shop the guys there keep saying that AGD is closing ect. so yeah, get better/more better news before thinking it is true.
