Extreme Body Thread to End All Extreme Body Threads - - TOM: HELP

Everyone knows there are about a million and two threads on the Extreme bodies, but they are full of assumptions, guesses, and hazy answers.

I propose that everyone with questions on Extreme bodies post them all here instead of making the people who know the answers (Tom and the AGD staff) run all over the forum trying to answer questions.

I'll start it off with some of the questions I have.

    1. When will they be released? (AGD if you guys don't know for sure then just say "we aren't sure"

    2. Can it fit on a Classic Automag with an Intelliframe and an vert ASA?

    3. Does it have a ball detent? Qustionable since it has Cocker threads.

    4. Does it incorporate the Eye? If so can it be had without the Eye, if it fits Automags?

    5. Last but not least, how much will it be? (Again if you don't know, just say so.

Maybe we can get a few things cleared up and there won't be so many different threads out there.

    Thanks A Lot

No offical date has been released yet for the extreme. And the bare bodies are even further beheind because the first couple of runs will go into building complete E-mag Extremes and SFL's

      2. Can it fit on a Classic Automag with an Intelliframe and an vert ASA?

Whe the body is released it will fit the stock AIR valve and Intelliframe, but will require a different sear assembly(from a RT I beleve) Sorry I hav no idea about the ASA

      3. Does it have a ball detent? Qustionable since it has Cocker threads.

I don't see why it wouldn't, the PTP mags all have detents. I beleve that the SFL's that are out use an Angel ball detent.

      4. Does it incorporate the Eye? If so can it be had without the Eye, if it fits Automags?

Yes the E-mag Extreme will have the eye, it is one of the things holding up final production(along with redesigning the breach.) Once the bodies are available to the general public, is should be available without the eye for those with non "E" mags. AGDE lists the body this way on their site.

      5. Last but not least, how much will it be? (Again if you don't know, just say so.

Again from the AGDE site the body will cost approx. 212.72 pounds, which is 304.59 in US dollars. The list the extra breach at approx. 42.51 pounds, which is 60.87 US dollars. No prices have been released by AGD yet, so these are the only prices we have to go by.

Maybe we can get a few things cleared up and there won't be so many different threads out there.

Good idea, I hope I helped a little

An Extreme body on a Automag or Minimag (or other AGD aluminum Auto/MiniMag body) wouldn't have the anti-chop eye (ACE) in it. An ACE be a waste, since the trigger would still be mechanical and not electronic, and thus wouldn't have a way to stop the AIR/Retro valve from operating whether or not there was a ball in the breach.

I dont think anything. I imagine that you can just pop the sear right in. The RT Sears have threaded sear pin instead of the classic ones that just "drop in" the body rail. Since the Extreme bodies incorporate the body rail into them, I think there will be no problems or modifications necessary to your grip frame. Someone correct me please if I am wrong ... I dont want to be blamed for spreading misinformation.

              Let's pop this on up.

And I just saw yet another Extreme thread come into existence and that will keep happening if we don't get all the info on one post.
