Feasability of a self limiting LPR for timmy

Yeah i posted this on PBN but, i figure i'll post it here to see if you brainy types might have a solution or a general direction. I would of posted this on the intimidatorowners group, but i just didnt want to start a new account.

Is it feasible to modify the existing Alias LPR to not go over XX psi?

Is there an LPR on the market with that feature? I was thinking of LPR on the EGO and its self limiting design.

Granted, if the reg were to develop a bad reg seat it still might creep past whatever pressure its limited to, unless i suppose, you can engineer an LPR that outputs at 95psi max, then a bad reg seat shouldn't matter.

With this, i figure you can loose the LPR guage knowing you wont blow a noid due to an undetected reg creep and possibly improve the ergonomics of the gun a little bit.

    thoughts?

The problem that I see is that there has to be a seal or a set of seals that will ultimately stop the pressure at XX PSI, whether it be a second cup seal, o-rings, whatever. And if this seal goes bad, it will still creep. If you get rid of the guage you will not know that the LPR has failed.

Maybe think about getting a micro Ashcroft gauge, I've heard good things about them. Most mini-gauges however are crap.
