What is your oppion on Redz Barrels?

Well I am looking at getting a new barrel and I am looking at getting this kit.

I have always loved Redz gear but as I have been out of the sport for a little while I have not heard much about this barrel. If any of you have it or have messed with it your advice would be appreciated. Oh and if you dont like this barrel then what do you prefer? thanks epterry

no it isnt...maybe it was fixed.

I've never personally used a Pepperstick, but I havn't heard anything bad about them. Should perform as well as any other good barrel kit on the market.

I have a Redz Pepper Stickz kit. Can't say anything bad about them. Well thats not true. They cost money

They come with four backs (.687, 689, 691, 693) and two tips (14 in. and 16 in). I wish it had come with a 12 inch tip. Oh well, nothing is perfect.

its a tube.. it isnt some technologically advanced system. aslong as it doesnt have burrs or deep scratches in it to impede the ball, it will be fine. my advice? pick up a 688 and a 693 back and tip for a ul and be set. and i say the ul, only because i like the way it looks and its pretty much an industry standard now.

Yeah I have read all of the reviews at pbreview. But I beg to disagree, while all tubes shoot about the same, depending on quality control barrels might not be perfect tubes. Also not all barrels sound the same, take abuse the same, nor shoot themselves clean the same. And I had been playing pump so I like for paint to go where I want it to. Thanks epterry

Oh btw, When you say ul do you mean the dye ultra light? I have been out of it for a while...

After owning a pipe barrel kit and shooting countless different brands of paint i've found there were only two bores out of the six most often used. Current i shoot a .689 CP and a the stock emag barrel, which is a larger bore of .693, IIRC.

...ever in the continual search of time dilation.

ok ... i own alot of barrels

                    1 boomstick
                    2 ultralights ....
                    1 freak
                    1 JT two-piece
                    1 Sm-1 Barrel kit
                    1 Pepperstick kit

...plus tons more stock barrels plus tips and backs for a couple of those.

for those saying get an UL .... sure they are nice, but they are REALLY over priced.
i love my pepperstick..i got it when it first came out, before they upped the price 30 bucks.
They are very light, silent, look nice and not overly done... they shoot like any other nice barrel.
what i like them for is the fit in with almost anygun(looks wise ) and the back portion is longer to get past the front block, which is really nice when i use the kit on my Nexus.
my only complaint is that the anno right at the tip wore off pretty fast, still; i would recomend it to anyone who needs a kit, if you are fine with just one tip and two backs you can buy them each by themselves to.

                      I have one
its not bad, the only complaints I have heard about them is that it has the pepper logo near the tip of the barrel and that ain't for everyone. Myself being a hot spicy food fan though it was great. only thing I found is that occassionally the smallest diameter is not small enough.
