Hello AO, this is my first post after lurking for about 6 months. I have an Automag Classic already, and have had it for some time now. However, while surfing an airsoft site here in Canada, I found this little neglected mag.

Picked it up for $50 CDN with a couple of Dye Barrels (with wire nubbins), the Benchmark double trigger .45 frame, and a couple of other odds and ends. The guy I got it from said it started leaking 2 years ago, and he tossed it in his closet. He wasn't kidding. The barrels were almost plugged up with paint and dust. I had to strip it all down to parts and wash most of it (not the valve, thats a different story) just to get the paint out. The valve indeed leaks, but its nothing a seal kit won't fix. One of the teflon orings in the on/off is partially crushed. Its got the crappy ANS reg, and a ANS bolt I have never seen before. When I gassed it up the first time (before stripping the valve down) it would just sit there and leak. After some love and about 20 minutes cleaning and lubing the valve and reg, it works great. Still leaks a little down the barrel, but otherwise functions perfect. Not bad for $50 CDN, I simply had to post about it. The last classic I picked up cost me almost $200 CDN; granted it was in better shape than this one.
Merry Christmas everyone.
