    I finally got one

    For awhile now i have been wanting to get a viking, and to day my wish cam true. I recently traded my phantom, barrel kit, and some stuff


    for a burgundy full mill 02 viking



    As soon as i get some extra cash i am going to get a new barrel, a CP on/off and ASA, and send it to DC to get eyes.

    However, i was wondering if anyone knows of any other quality places where i can get eyes put in (along with a new board).

      It is considered against rules to send a Viking to DC just to get eye milling done. If you know what I mean.

      I would assume JMJ could mill it for eyes as well.

          i know what you mean, sadly i don't have the money to have it milled and everything .
          Oh and they'll also give it a once over and tune everything as well.

              Send it to DC for eye milling. They will give you the quickest service and best cistumer service. JmJ has seemed to slip out of the AKA milling market right now and AKA would probably take forever.

                  It seems alot of people have recently made the switch to AKA. Hope you enjoy your stay here in the family.

                  Did you trade for that from "Clipper" here on AO?

                      definately go with DC for the eyes. you might want to look into milling or other upgrades, they do some nice stuff.

                          yes i got it from clipper (sort of). and i will probably get it milled if i ever have extra cash.

                              Go with DC for eyes. I believe they also have Tadao boards in stock. Do it all in one shot.

                              Just to throw it out there- My Viking is on my lap. Yeah, I'm obsessed.

                                  everytime i've been on AO since i've had the viking its been right next to me. just wondering can the stock 02 board handle eyes? i'll probably upgrade to tadao anyways, just wondering

                                      tadao is definately worth getting. i didnt think it would make too much of a difference, but the tadao'd viking i shot was so much better than the stock viking. actually, my friend rob (rkjunior303) has his tadao board up for sale, since he sold his viking. send him a PM. otherwise just get one from DC.

                                          Nahh the nelson can't use, or even be modified to use eyes.

                                          If you don't want to fork over the cash for a Tadao, that perfectly fine, I loved my WAS board and the Pandora is just fine as well...Infact I have 2 pandora's just sitting on my desk doing nothing and no use for them...they are $50 new I think now, si I'd let these go for dirt cheap...say $30 for a board that does verey thing, modes, current ramp modes, uncapped,,blah blah supports eyes...blah blah both excal and viking.

                                              Yep, I have one for sale but it's one of the original boards that came out so I believe it only works with humphry noids.
