04 and 05 Speed questions

Since the Angel forums have turned to poop it looks like, I'll ask here. My friend is looking to pick up a speed. The guy he's going to has an 05 speed and an 04 speed. Can anyone gimme a list of the differences between the two? Thanks in advance.

The major difference would be the 05s come with eyes stock.

also the 05's have the new stlye frame(a lot more comfy in my opinion), different milling, slightly smaller i think, and faster stock(not that it really matters anyways)

Also, the 05 has a clamping feed and I don't think the 04 does.

same engine internally, the o5 is baisically an 04 fly with the new reg, new milling, and different frame. Vernier weel adjustment for trigger. they will shoot the same.

the 05 speeds better. It has the fly engine, comes stock with eyes, and runs off a 9v.

The 04 speed doesn't have eyes, only sensi. It uses a rechargablee battery.

The 05 has redesigned internals which made it a bit more efficent. It has eyes. Uses a 9V battery. The newest(06) Speed was slightly redesigned and they went back to a lighter rechargable battery. It kinda makes me curious as to what they didn't like about the 05 to change to the G7 based 06 so quickly....maybe just a testbed for the G7? just conjecturing...

The 04 Speed and A4 are pretty much the same marker internally and operationally. They have Sensi which(like COPS before it) is a dismal failure of a ball detection system. Take it out and use a Halo it can totally rip. Its a fairly reliable marker other than the lack of eyes. It gets good gas mileage as well. They can be found fairly cheap right now, so don't spend much.

its because the G7 platform FINALLY adressed the rollback issue angels have had for ages, making them chop occasionally no matter what you did.

05 is far superior to the 04 in every way. I have used both extensively and the 05 is a much better gun. The 04 is ok, but its really not up to par. They chop a lot even with a nice loader (eggolution II). They do have a nice feel though. Spend the extra cash on an 05. -My opinion...

the fly engine is the same as the 04 speed engine, there is no difference to my knowledge.

if you had to chose though, i would deffinitely choose the 05, ace is enough of a reason for me. SENSI sucks, even properly setup, it breaks way too easily. Cool idea, poor execution.

The g7 and its breach, and the 06 speed/gat have the best platform for the money in the angel world, because of the corrected roll back issue inherent with the roto breach.

Why doesnt wdp just toss the roto breach out the window and cut some weight out? serriously. Its more of a novelty now a days.
