      Its All Here

Hey Butters whats a rail bushing?

John Dale was still working for AirGun Designs, but I put him in as President. As it turned out, he had some health issues and had to leave. What I gave him to take with him was the compressed air regulator that he could make on his own. He was set to make it but Air America approched him and told him that they would like to make it with him. He started working with Air America to make that regulator with our blessing. It Was Never A Copy. We just didn't have the time to make it.
And this Reg would Be called The JDN2
JD lives and we still party from time to time.

      Peace Out

Well, I was THERE when AGD introduced the compressed air tank. I lobbied Lively and crew hard, but couldn't get past the "we don't know enough about it" arguement. I tried...

imagine where agd would be today, if they came out with those first with some sort of patent.

                      "It's my buddies gun"
                      "I just bought it"
                      "It came that way"
                      "I borrowed it "
I HAVE HEARD THEM ALL, SO BE ORIGINAL !!!

But seriously if AGD did patent it then they would've probably limited its use.....

AGD invented powerfeed bodies and numerous other improvements for the paintball industry, but didn't limit their use, and I doubt it would have been any different with the introduction of HPA.

Back in 1992, however, I doubt it would have taken off as quickly since few guns other than the AutoMag would have experienced great benefits over the use of CO2.
                          My feedback

Made in USA - it matters.

im presuming the reason he didnt patent it was because he didnt want to limit the paintball community. Tippmann did the same thing with CO2. They invented the CO2 canister we see used by most entry guns today but refused to patent it because they knew it would cause Constant Air sources not to be used and slow the progress of paintball as we know it.

Doh I was there to. Holy cow batman we could have a reunion revolution

Heres another tidbit. When it was introduced the NPPL allowed it right away. We had our own HP fill system[3000psi compressor with three cascading scuba tanks] along with the Jax Warriors, they had like 6 or 8 tanks. coolist thang ya ever saw. Anybody remember Ed Head? It took the IAO three years before they allowed it. 92 to 95
