I have a ZGrip, and I am waiting for some parts to get to be so I can put it all together. Once I get it put together, I will take pics and post them. I just realized one thing, though. I was confused about the different grips that were made. I was told that there were two different Zgrips...one for Automag rails, and one for RT rails. My buddy just bought an RT Pro, and my grip didn't really fit. When I tried to put the rail on the grip, there was a space between the front part of the grip and the rail. So, what were the type of grips made? Were there different grips made for RT's and RTPros?Comment

I am not an RT expert but, I believe there was an RT version to accomdated the bango bolt.Comment

I found 3 this weekend!
First one belongs to a local guy that has this chromed out mag running hawaiian style. He owns two, one of which he doesn't bring out to the field.
The third one I found belongs to this lady, Thats right I said lady.
A close up of her Z-grip.

As far as I know, there were two Z-Grips made originally, one for the "classic" RT, and one for the classic AM/MM. Keep in mind that the modern RT-Pros are different from the original RT that was in production at the time the Z was originally produced. Either of the two styles of Z-Grip will have the laser engraved Z-Grip name and the lion logo.Originally posted by RattI have a ZGrip, and I am waiting for some parts to get to be so I can put it all together. There was a second run of Z-Grips sold "from the attic." The second run has no laser engraving and has a brass spacer in the rear of the grip that can be pressed out to compensate the banjo bolt that was unique to the classic RT.
Somebody else may be able to comment if there were any more than these three types. I don't know what the distribution is in terms of how many of the 400 were made for which marker, nor have I ever read an official number for those that were sold from the attic.Comment
