At my local shop they have a old style RT with a hyperframe on it? Its priced at $400(but what the owner will accually give it away for, I dont know). Whats one of these things worth these days? I have a bit of money to throw down, and this just seemed to catch my eye.

Thats just a little pricy.. I'd try to beat him down to atleast 350 but they are nice guns, I used to have a hyperframed old skool rt.. a bit on the heavy side but still amazing. -

RT classics with hyperframes are rare. I know Centerflag used to charge something like $300 just to install them on the RT.
If you can get it for $300-$350 its a good deal. THe hyperframe itseld is worth $150ish.Comment

Agreed, the expensive part on that deal is the hyperframe and the hyperframe install. They were not meant to fit on RT Classics, but Center Flag did a round of installs back in the day. I do not know much about the modding it takes to get it to work, but if I were you I would try and salvage just the hyperframe if possible abd buy yourself a new mag.IM SORRY AO FOR DISOBEYING YOUR SIG RULES!!!! To get a hyperframe to fit I'm pretty sure all you need to do is widen the field strip screw hole and mill down the wings.. those are the only things different I noticed about mine (I had another hyperframed mag at the time to compare with)
