Hey here are a few Ideas for you to ponder What if your super bolts had titanium instead of stainless its almost 50% the weight and I believe its just as strong. and another one what about making an 88 ci 4500 flatline I play both ternaments and rec ball An when I play rec I need a big tank for lots of shots any one else agree.

This has been considered before I belive.
If my memory serves me correctly titanium, although stronger, is more brittle than hardened stainelss and will flake off when exposed to the shear forces of the sear.Did you hear about the new european weapons contracts? France is going to make the wooden sticks Spain making the little white flags

I like small tanks - so in my opinion, a 68ci is enough; also at a SupAir game, the 68ci are enough - you can refill it after every game if you shoot really much
And you can screw a larger tank in every Flatline - like Cha0tic said!Greets Manuel

Actually titanium is not that hard to work with nor
is it weaker than stainless.
Most information on machining titanium compares it to
stainless for ease or difficulty of machining. Like stainless
it work hardens and galls.
So it is no better or worse than stainless.
Titanium has a yield strength ranging from 35000-200000psi
depending on the alloy and heat treatment
Stainless steel ranges from 30000-275000psi again depending
on alloy and heat treatment.
Yield strength is the amount of force that can be applied to
a material and then released without permanently deforming it,
and is the standard measure of a metals strength.
Unfortunately it will have a problem with the sear because
of a low resistance to friction. Darn
An aluminum or titanium body with a steel sear ring might
be interesting though

for the tank I would prefer a stubby one but the comp. agd uses Carleton pressure technologies I believe only makes long ones I just think its a nice option to have an 88ci and I'd rather just buy the tank whole as for bolts I'd like to hear toms take on titanium I believe its light and strong enough as for aluminum even though its super Light Like half that of titanium and a quarter of stainless its to weak I'm sure of that.Z-griped, warped, retromag with super bolt, and warpleft polished body, freak kit and flatline 3k

What does that sig mean anyway?Famous SEAL quotes:
"Give us your mind, and we will take care of your body"
"We aren't superman, he does things the hard way. Why leap tall buildings in a single bound, when you can blow it up and walk over the rubble"
"Pain is just weakness leaving the body"
"It is not my job to judge our enemies, that is God's job, it is my job to arrange the meeting"
"I will treat you all the same, JUST LIKE CRAP!"

You need that to be a little more obvious though... It's really hard to tell... I already say that but I'm just giving a suggestion.

Good Lord Son, what are you [fill in the blank] ???
Cut and paste the signature to wordpad. Then change it to a Courier Font, which is not a true type font and will display spaces properly. Then do a search and replace and replace all the 0's with 2 spaces... If you can't get it from my clue in the post subject, here is another clue. It is something Jim Carey would say when he is wearing a mask that makes his face green...
BTW, so not to get too far off the subject. I think Titanium would be cool, but would be much more expensive than SS.
