First off, let me say upfront I DO NOT THINK MAGS SUCK!!
But I'd like to see mag owners realize that thier are better guns out there. Lots of AO'ers seem to refuse to believe there's a better gun out there, really, I swear.
I like mags for what they are, a great rec gun. I would like to see a complete overhaul, with an integrated valve instead of the current configuration, and better bodies. Like DW's bodies.

Would anybody like to explain to me what is going on about flux capacitors? What are you trying to do, shoot a paintball back in time? Is this simply the name of some product that should be out by now? Last time I heard flux capacitor I was watching "Back to the Future".

I personally think a better stock feedneck would be nice. But that is simple stuff, I plan to get a sub-zero anyway...

well, i'd be satisfied with the production of the xmag again, that would raise the highend intrest in mags, and would probably rake in quite a few sales for AGD.

        other things...

An aluminum classic valve for lighter weight, tighter tolerances for the ULT. Or a CO2 capable xvalve (or faster recharge CO2 valve).

a relyable source for pneumatic/electro/electropneumatic trigger frames.

more of the old wooden grips.

a shop that would do SS hardline installs.

If i could get a super lightweight fast CO2 mag with ult, wood grips and ss hardline. that would be a classic looking super sleeper mag.

What guns would be better and why?

Aren't Mags considered to be the highest form of mech markers? I do not know of another that will allow for so little work with such great perfromance out of the box.

              Yes.
But only when you ask someone on this forum.

I'd take a Blazer over a mag anyday.

                Werd.
If I went mechanical, mags are pretty far down on my list.

Thats something we need to change, that and that most ppl dont consider mag electro guns. They can be converted between so easily its ridiculous. Just an eframe away, what other high end mech gun has that. We can literally just unscrew two screws and then screw in our other frame and go. I just wish the word go out to everyone and someone mass produced a *cheap* electro frame (the high end ones we have are already made thanks to logic and devilsden).

also we need to start touting our reliabitly some more becuase i walked into the pro shop the other day and somene tried to convince me that their ion was more reliable then my spydermag.....ughhhh.... if only i had my gun on hand to show them what reliability really means.

on a side note, are the days ever going to come back when all a player needed was one paintball gun, no back up or anything?

The fact that you mentioned that you own a spydermag debunks your statement that and electromag is two screws away.
The Spydermag mod requires just that...modding.

Even when I ran my Hyperframe I still had to tune the ULT for electro use, then again for mechanical use.

And you can't thank DevilsDen for the Devilmag.
There are only like...three of them so far.
That's not including Hyperframes with Pred Boards in them, that isn't a new thing, and it requires NO brain to do.

I'm sorry. I'm one of the fellows who didn't have a reliable mag.

umm... the mag isnt an electro gun, because it isnt really designed to be one. If you had been around in the times that the boo yah frame came out and the hyperframe first came out, and you dealt with all of the issues included, you would realize it isnt just an easy frame swap. Bring the ult and lvl 10 into the equation, and you have much more than many people want to deal with.

logic and the umf are sofar the closest to making a bolt on electro frame that works reliably. Devil mags are taking for ever, and arent much more than a hyperframe with a pred in it. nothing too spectacular.

                          Agreed.
Anyone remember replacing your bolts and sears from Hyperframe and booyah use?

Anything else would require some "unique parts" as far as I can figure. Love to hear any ideas!

Still thinking about running some air to a lpr and makin a pneumatic

                            Gas thru pneumag?

Anywho, I too look forward to it, gonna be loads of fun.

You could use a fitting like the A5 rt uses. Check one out.

Thanks! That might come in handy. It looks like it might be tight on airflow and pressure tolerance, but then again, I know very little about Tippmanns. Do you have any info you can throw my way on the parts? How much pressure goes through one of those things?

                              Thanks again.
