HP/LP Regulators!?

Im confusued with this. Im using an HP tank on my matrix. Would i need a LP or HP regulator? Im buying a hyper 2, and they have 2 different kinds.

The Matrix family can run with either HP or LP output tanks. I run an LP CenterFlag on mine with no problems, but I know a lot of guys around here like the HP tanks. The Hyper2 is the stock inline reg on the DM series, and will be just fine running input flow into your gun.

The difference between HP and LP tanks is the output pressure. HP puts out 850 or so psi, while an LP tank puts out about 450 psi. As for the Hyper2, I haven't seen any other subtypes... where are you looking?

The matrix can run off of either hp or lp output TANKS.
Since the gun only runs on 145-200 psi, you'd want your INLINE REG to be of the Low Pressure output type.

HP inline regs typically allow an output of 500-800 psi
LP inline regs are typically output from about 0-500 psi

There's only one Hyper2 offered, it runs @ 50-450psi. Your HP tank will be fine.
