    Automags+Speedball

Do you think that automags like the Rt ULE are ok for speedball? How are they compared to electros like ions and things of that sort?

No, Automags will self destruct if they are even within 50 feet of a speedball field. They get really intimidated by the presense of electronic markers.

It all depends on what you are going to do with it, if the only reason you play speedball to shoot 1200+ rounds a game? Then no an RT is not for you. If you are looking to maybe aim and hit your target then yes an RT will work excellently.

Not really. It is still an Rt. Which one are you looking at? The Paradigm pro or the classic? The better choice would be the pro. Sleeper rail, Lvl10 anti chop bolt, blade I-frame and ULT
I think it may be out of stock, but it would be a fine marker if you got one. The biggest differance between the RTpro from Agd and the RPG Paradigm pro is the rails. AGD is stock and RPG streamlined and lighter. Otherwise they are basicly the same.

It's fine for rec speedball and small, local tournies. I'd never use one in a pro or amateur game though. I'd use an electro mag for that...

That is my first choice also, but it is like you said.

Edit: Doing a price comparison the RPG model is a better deal over one from AGD. No wonder why he is out of stock.

This is not a topic that you will get a straight answer for. It is all about your view on the paintball world. Most poeple who say that mags are great for speedball dislike the fact that the sport is being taken over by 'super guns'. The other people will probably tell you that yes, they will work fine, but there are other better options if you plan to play speedball more often than scenario/rec.

I have a RPG paradigm and it is great. I dont use it on the speedball field because I have 2 shockers and run them. It is a great marker that could run very well on any rec day speedball course. If you are getting a mech marker get the RPG. Good luck and God Bless.

it all depends on your style of play. If you want to dump paint as fast as all the other guys with PSP ramping electros, then no, the Automag is a bad choice.

On the other hand, if you don't want rampingish firepower then a Mag is great. Works for me!

Well yah there is always other options. My personal favorite is an Emag. Sort of an end all solution. Contrary to popular speedball belief the RT will hold its own even against "super guns". Matter a fact I've seen well rounded players take out the quote "super guns" with phantoms on the air field. Play hard, play to win and practice x 3. It is how you play, team work and not so much the gun that wins the game. Truth is that mags in general are not the most popular choice these days on any air field period, but it isn't because they can't hang. I'm mag bias. To me there isn't any one better marker, only the proper mag for the job. I say bring on the super guns. There is a mag/mag upgrades for every level of play.

i used a minimag with hyperframe back in day like 6 years ago when they first came out and it was perfect and before that with the mechanical double trigger it was still fine. I used my RT Pro (back up) at a tourny and honestly they are really fast. Moving on to the emag, lets just say people hated my emag because it was like a machine gun out there. I have never shot more paint in all my life with my minimag 8 inch barrel on there. I have been playing for 9 years and have shot them all. I prefer the shoebox shockers with all the Hyper Sport Works parts, then Angels (currently shooting), and then Emags or mags in general.
