    300 FPS Finger ?

    I heard that the pressure of an automag (standard or RT ) bolt coming forward, while your finger is in the chamber, could cut your finger off and shoot it. Is this possible?
    I'm not saying everybody is dumb ebough to finger their guns chamber while its gassed up, but I got a micromag with a removable powerfeed and if say, I had to clean it quickly while at the field I detatched the P/F and accidently shot ... could this take my finger off? This goes for everybody with a standard feed automag.

    I am not the one to try it, and I hope nobody is dumb enough for this to happen...but I heard it is possible, I am just seeing if this is actually possible or just a myth.

    It seems to me that an RT or mag could do this, but if anybody has heard any differently I would be interested in hearing what you have to say!

      Yah it most likely would. I heard of this happening b4. AGD made the standard feed tubes so long so that fingers cant fit in there.

          thats pretty sickning, but couldnt almost any gun do that?, like the tipp, or somthin else like it?

              a stingray II- that might cut your whole arm off because they cant do anything right, like even cutting your finger off.

              most guns, probably wont cut your finger off. but i think AGD blow forward design would take your finger off in an instant, without hurting the gun at all. by the time you could register whats happening, and put your gun down, your gun would have a new red finish to it.

              most people know not to rub the chamber while the guns gassed up, but people are generically stupid at times and some crazy things can happen.

              just like a bunch of kids on a field trip after WWII found an unexploded bomb on the ground and started throwing rocks at it while the teacher wasnt around... those little kids lost alot more than their fingers.

                  a tippmann or any other blowback won't do it. Remember, its just spirng pressure pushing the bolt forward. It will hurt but not do much damage. A mag will probably suck your whole arm in there.

                      Stick a carrott in there, if it cuts the carrot off, it would most likely damage your finger very much...if it stops, then you will hurt, but not have much damage.

                          this has become a rather odd post... why was it started again anyways? and how did it end up with sticking vegetables in your paintball gun?? oh well... this isnt very odd for me i guess... well i have to go feed the squirrels their drugs...
