    Overseas to America shipping question

I traded my E-Mag for an 05 Speed some time ago. The guy shipped it from France about 4 to 5 weeks ago using the Postal Service. I have heard that things coming into the United States may take some extra time now due to homeland security. There is not a tracking # on the package ( at least I don't think there is).

I still have my Mag boxed up and waiting since he was going to ship first. Do any of you have any experience with how long things take? The other guy went to the post office and I guess they are starting a search for it but he said it could take about 3 weeks. I am starting to lose a little faith that it is going to show up.

I truly do feel the Angel was shipped. The guy appears to be very honest. He has even bought things for the Mag awaiting its arrival. Just looking for what some others thought.

I just bought an x mag off of ebay. It was shipped USPS airmail and had the proper border documents. It fell just short of taking 3 weeks to get here and that is just shipping to Canada. I would say you might wait 4-6 weeks. (I am no expecrt though).

      What method USPS?
Global priority, global express, or global parcel?

I ship a lot to international customers.. and I use global express and global priority (global parcel is slower and MORE expensive than global priority!).
Express is very fast.. 4-10 days.
priority can take up to 4 weeks, but usually 15 days is about average.

Also really depends on how the box is marked and what documents are included with it. Customs can end up holding "questionable" items for very long periods.. "questionable" could be simply improper documents, etc.

There should be a USPS transaction number on the shipment (shipper should have it on his receipt), no matter how it was shipped (if I am not mistaken).

      out!

I think he shipped it gobal priorty. If it was held up at customs would they contact anyone about it? I do know what the package looked like that he shipped. I can not get a hold of him now because he is depoyed to Afghanastan with the French Army. I guess I will sit and wait and hope.
