What is the difference between a rt sear and a rt pro sear?

The Classic RT sear has got a roller bearing and has a carbide tip. The RTpro doesn't. The rod length is just a little different also, but one could change that if need be. I don't remember just offhand what the correct rod lengths where.

Sure, but you have to be concerned about the rod length. Rod lenth is important. They use the same rod, but one is adjusted shorter than the other. The threads of the rod have
loc-tite on them, but no biggy adjusting them or replacing them. What are you building?

A RTpro sear would be a direct bolt on, but if you really wanted the classic RT sear insted I found the length difference to help you out. RT rod length= 1.945" & Rtpro rod lenth 1.998"

              You sure?

              RT-Pro:

              On/Off Pin: .765"

              Trigger Rod: 1.985

Here is where I got my info:

I messured the RTpro sear this morning and I got 1.998". That is factory direct.
If I remember correctly My classic Rt was off just a tad of 1.945"

the classic RT has the gas through rail right? and the roller sear?

i have an RT Pro rail, with a roller sear in it. is there any wear i should be concerned about? the trigger pull is fine too.

"Yes", it does and "No", wear is not an issue.
