No, my case didnt go to the supreme court but in cases that I read up on when all this was going down had gone that far over email and IM logs. Plus this all happened to me almost 3 years ago as well.

The way things have changed I could probably do more about it but not then.

This really hasn't happened to me but I think I'm going to start demanding a bill/invoice/recpiet thingy before money is exchanged. So I have a paper trial for any personal transaction's I do this for all my private sale's of paintball/airsoft/firearm sales. (private sales of firearm's in WI are still legal. Just make sure you have the buyer's address on them)

I don't how you guys do things down in the states, but when ever I send someone money, especially by mail, I make sure to require a signature on the reciever end, with proof of identity. Electronic payment methods are great, because they leave a nice trail that can be followed legally.

Hmmm..... Well, I actually had a pretty decent transaction with tobe2be. His Gmail addresse is the same as his screenname. Also, I have a feeling that the sydarm isn't exactly NIB.

Wow. It arrived today. Not NIB, but in really good shape. Woulda been nice if I had been sent a tracking number a couple days ago, but ah well...
