It depends on how well the marker was taken care of and the air source used. However, 'mags can be + or - 2 any day of the week. Last time I played with my Automag toting friend we were both right in that range and his 'mag is all crusty and old and has been stolen atleast once.

along with the consistancy, automags are accurate right ?.. like in comparison to an autococker how does it hold up ?.. I don't own one yet, but am planning on getting an RT ULE with all the upgrade stuff.. becuase i love small profiles, and i like mechs and i like accuarcy and i've heard they are accurate, but I wouldlike to ask the saemq eustion on this website, because this IS automags.org.. the name says it all

Well as stated by several people including Tom Kaye accuracy has to do with several things; good paint, good barrel to paint fit, consistent air source, and steadiness of the shooter. The automag itself is very consistent and therefore very accurate. If you want your automag to be as accurate as possible keep it in good shape, buy good paint that matches your barrel, have a good high pressure tank such as a centerflag, crossfire, or air america, and last but not least practice as much as you can afford to.

        Hope that helps.

          Accuracy:

Marker accuracy is a myth in paintball. The deciding factors in accuracy are consistency, consistency, and consistency. You need a consistent air source, consistent regulation/marker (almost all medium-high end markers are consistent), and consistent paint to barrel match.

          FPS consistency:

My mag has had days where it is +3/-3 and days when it's +1/-1 so it averages to +2/-2. That's not bad considering the recharge rate of mags is still one of the highest in paintball.
