    Twist lock Freak backs....yippie...

Well, I bought this original RT off of thedarkmatrix last week. He said it was sitting around for a long time and probably didn't work, but the price was really fair so I got. It's in surprizingly good condition. Very minor scratches, nice dust black anno, composite frame (which I may replace), original barrel, etc.

So I thought I may upgrade a few things, so I decided to start with the barrel. I was surprised to find that paintballgear.com had twistlock Freak backs. I wouldn't have thought that Smart Parts would have even made any, considering the mag market isn't terribly big.

Well I bought one and they say they only have one left in stock. That's my story...if you want a stainless Freak back for a twistlock, nows your chance.

Hey sorry to tell ya, but I got mine WITH a 14' red tip for $10.
            check out the pic.

I can walk onto a field with that old gun anyday and get respect.

PS the tank is EMPTY so no whining about safety. I had alot of trouble with that the last time I posted this pic.

Thanks for the info guys, I guess I should've asked before I jumped at the one on paintballgear, but I needed some other stuff so I was buying stuff from there anyway.

I don't think it's in working order. I don't have any CA right now. Thedarkmatrix said it had been sitting for a couple of years, so I didn't expect it to work. But it's in great shape for as old as it may be. It's serial#0206. I had seen some of the original RTs years ago, but totally forgot all of the little differences it had. How the body runs over the valve, the laser engraving on the valve and forgrip. It has a composite frame I'm probably going to replace, but outside of that and the barrel I probably won't do anything else to it. Maybe add lvl10. The anno is a matte black and it has the hard line from the foregrip to the back of the rail. I always thought that was really cool back when they came out.

I'll work on pics for you guys.

              Laterz...

I have an original RT that I bought years ago from someone on paintball-guns.com.
It needed a bit of work, all the seals replaced.
Broke the carbide tip of the sear a few weeks ago and KayleAGD sent me another one. I'll take it out to play next weekend.
The last RT I had was sweet. When you found the sweet spot on the trigger it would act full auto. Refs went cray trying to figure it out.
