EXP chamber question

Will it make a difference if I set up my EXP chamber on its side underneath the barrel?

im not sure, but when i gutted my expansion chamber there was an air passage that went from chamber to chamber. i would think that if it is on its side then the liquid co2 would just flow through, but im not sure of this

That would not be a very practical use of an expansion chamber.

one version of the old VM-68 (sniper version i think it was called) had an exp chamber mounted horizontally under the barrel.
just take the exp chamber apart and look at the partitions. try to line it up so the liquid can't climb uphill into the next partition. If it's a single chamber with no baffles, it may not do you any good to mount it horizontally.

It'll work as long as you dont flow UBER amounts of liquid into it.

The chamber works by slowing down the flow of gas allowing it to expand, so it should work decently.

Expansion chambers work by providing increased surface area to heat the CO2 and maintain its gaseous state. If you are getting large amounts of liquid that could flow into the line if the expansion chamber is on its side, then you need to correct other problems. In short, you should be just fine putting the expansion chamber on its side.
