Those are some good questions, I am really curious to hear the answers again.

"Biography of THE MAN"
BTW, not only is this exciting, but I love the background history of AGD. Im pretty sure I could just sit here for hours and read about the humble beginnings of AGDRAWR

Yes, but I guess I don't (or didn't) see the Illustrator as being a real competitor. Our team was at its peak in size between the early to mid-90s -- we could field two 15-man teams, and DID -- but of 30-some odd guys on our roster in the early days only one had an F1, and he was usually the only guy at any given event with one too. Mags and Cockers were cost prohibitive for a lot of us back then, so I guess I always saw the competition as being the low cost semis like the PMI-3/VM-68 and the Tippmann Pro Lite/68 Special.Originally posted by AGDWe had a lot of problems so it wasnt very good. The Illustrator kicked our *** the first couple years. ANyone remember the Illustrator?Last edited by Dryden; 03-28-2006, 02:28 PM.Comment

The Illustrator comment suprised me. I really didn't think they were anything but a flash in the pan thing. I only remember them being popular for about a year, and at that time we were already shooting mags. Then again the guys on SWARM at the time did a pretty good brainwash job on using mags. Between them and meeting you back then, I got hooked for life...Illustrator who???Comment
